Barbara Jackson-Haney is the owner and lead instructor of Preparedness & Training, LLC, a trusted provider of CPR, first aid, and health-safety education since 2007. She earned her Master’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Arkansas and holds national credentials as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.
Barbara is a licensed CPR training provider affiliated with the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, National Safety Council, Health & Safety Institute, American CPR, and several other nationally recognized curricula. Over the past two decades, she has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality, engaging, and accessible training to individuals, schools, and organizations throughout Arkansas.
In addition to her role as an educator, Barbara is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and certified EMT instructor, bringing real-world emergency experience to every class she teaches. Guided by deep compassion and a passion for lifelong learning, she expanded her services in 2025 to include doula certification, providing emotional and physical support to expectant mothers. She also holds multiple certifications in emotional and holistic health, allowing her to care for individuals and families across all stages of life.
Whether teaching CPR, leading EMS education, or supporting families, Barbara’s mission is simple: to empower others with the knowledge and confidence to save lives.
