DESCRIPTION:American Heart Association\nBasic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) \nOnline + Classroom Session \nDescription \nHeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor or on a simulation station. \nAccess to the BLS Provider Manual eBook (20-3102) is included with HeartCode BLS. You will be able to access the Provider Manual from within the course. \nThis product has been updated with new science from the 2020 Guidelines for CPR and ECC and replaces the previous version (15-3254). \nHow does the 2020 Guidelines version of HeartCode differ from the 2015 Guidelines version of HeartCode? \nThe 2020 Guidelines HeartCode uses a personalized adaptive algorithm that sets students on the most efficient path to mastery. Students follow a continuously adapting learning path that is personalized by their own inputs: their performance\, and their self- reported confidence level related to each probing question. This is either a certificate at the end of the online portion or an email stating you completed it.   \nOnline + Classroom Session  \nClick here  to register – Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED\nClick here to schedule your hands on portions & pay for your class.  – multiple time slots available.  Skills must be completed within 30 days. \nSkill Session time slots on Monday\, Wednesday and Fridays.  IF THERE ARE NO SLOTS AVAILABLE TODAY\, THEY ARE ALL FILLED\, YOU CAN CHOOSE OTHER DATES.  \nThe 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. This class is taught in a blended learning format and the online portion (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) must be completed prior to attending the Instructor-led skills session.
